Introduction:

For my introduction I am going to talk about what two things I'm good at, two things I need to improve on, and my goals for the next 6 weeks of school for language arts, science, math, social studies. For language arts, two things I did good in is writing a EXPLORE response and making a simile card. I did good in EXPLORE response because every time I write a EXPLORE response I get a feedback and that helped me write a better response. I did good in my simile definition card because you just have to create a simile and draw a picture of what your example is. Two things I need to improve on for language arts is to try writing a longer EXPLORE response to get a higher mark and to learn how to write better and longer response. Next is to listen to feedbacks for response because before I don't really use my feedback to help me write my response, but now I am going to try using my feedback. For social studies two things I did good at is the cro-magnon poster and the cuneiform. I did good in the cro- magnon because I really looked at the picture I drew and tried making it look like the picture from the book. What I did good in making the cuneiform tracing the mesopotamian letters on the clay because we used a toothpick that made it easier to trace. Two things I need to improve on for social studies is doing homework because every time I go home I play video games and forget that we had homework or I lost track of the time, second thing I need to improve on for social study is using my time wisely when at school doing work, to do this I need to not get distracted by my friends and listen to teachers for instruction. My goal for the next 6 weeks of school is to try listen to Ms. Hay more and not fool around in class when we are doing work and not talking to someone when the teacher is talking.

My Subject

Term 1 Reflection

Term 1 was really good for me because I learned a lot of math stuff. This term I learned about rate, proportion, ratio, fraction, square root, and Pythagorean. The best thing we did in term 1 is when we did the “ Sesame Street Video”. I got to do it with Roemer and Ishaka, but Richard had to do the video.

Term 2 Reflection

This term was successful and bad for me. I did good in volume and surface area because I actually understand it. I did pretty bad in my quizzes/test except for the last test because I actually studied for it, when i started listening to Mr. Harbeck it was pretty simple to do. My goal for next term is to listen and study more. To achieve this goal what I'm going to do is listen and not get off task every time we do work and I'm going to use my time wisely at home to study and do more homework.
